Statement
I am a freelance artist specializing in murals and large scale artworks. I often work in collaboration with other artists, architects, schools, universities and community arts organisations.
Painting together is a social act, is invigorating and produces fine artwork when all communicate closely. Pride and confidence are the long-term legacy of a successful painting. I get a thrill out of painting big, and I have seen that many others do too.

A typical community project might involve consultation sessions with the local residents, followed by the actual painting and concluded by an opening ceremony (which could include, for example, the local press or the mayor). I can provide a website of photos, videos and comment which catalogues the progress of the project and provides a legacy for those involved.
Artistic Appointments
Associate Director at Deer Park Alpha design studio (www.deerparkalpha.org), a company centered on combining art and architecture for the benefit of whole communities. 2005 – 2011.
Visiting Tutor at Southampton University School of Civil Engineering and the Environment . 2009 – 2011.
Creative Director for The Bionic Engineers, an urban regeneration design firm that trains and utilizes the talent of long-term unemployed young people. Part of the Future Jobs Fund. 2009- 2010.
Visiting Tutor at Portsmouth University School of Architecture, 2009.
Creative Director at Pottinger Architects . October 2005 – August 2006.
Artistic Consultant for Pottinger Architects Responsible for architectural graphics, February – October 2005.
